FOOD HELP for PRESIDENT MICKELSEN's Funeral

We still are in need of 2 dozen rolls, 4 cubes of butter and 8 more cakes for anyone willing to serve.

What a wonderful opportunity we have been given to give back to the Mickelsen family. I was thinking of the message President Mickelsen shared at our Ward Conference in April - he said,
"The veil is thin and the Lord is guiding"

He spoke of having hope and faith,
focusing on the positive,
and doing the right thing for the right reasons.

We are so grateful for the guidance and love he gave us all as he followed the Lord while serving as our Stake President. We know that he will continue to guide as a ministering angel as he serves in the spirit world. We know how much he loves his family, and we know he will continue to be involved in their lives. All of us have gained strength through his example, and we are so grateful to the Mickelsen family for sharing him with the Stake.  I feel so blessed that he was able to share special moments with us at the conclusion of our son's mission. I know there are many families who have the Mickelsen's in their thoughts and prayers today. He will never be forgotten.

What a special opportunity for service we have as RS sisters to bring a small bit of relief on this day to the Mickelsen family.

Please contact a member of the RS Presidency or the Compassionate Service Leaders if you are interested in participating;

President Mickelsen

Dear Friends and Ward Family
tonight we have gained a dear ministering angel ... President Mickelsen
He will be greatly missed by all of us here, but is being lovingly welcomed with excitement, we're sure, in the spirit world tonight.  What a great and glorious man he is, and always will be!

Bishop Fitch and Pres. Higbee have asked that we allow the Mickelsen family time - that we not all go over at once, ...the family is loved by so many - but to please feel free to send a card to express your condolences to the family & loved ones.

May we all enjoy the strength of the memory of this great man and feel his presence and reassurance of God's Plan for all of us
